The former NFL running back responded to a trans woman who called him out for sliding in her DMs after he shared a transphobic message.

Former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell has issued a statement after a trans OnlyFans model came forward with receipts of their DMs after he shared a transphobic tweet.

On Saturday, Nov. 9, Bell issued a statement on X.

“I’m touching on this one time and one time only cuz this DUDE just chasing clout,” he wrote. “First off, I embarrassed my lady because I’m out here in random dm’s when I shouldn’t be … all of this could’ve easily been avoided if I’m just staying solid to my relationship and not in random ‘girls’ dm’s .. PERIOD, I AM SO WRONG FOR THAT and to her, I apologize.”

“Now secondly, LYING to make it seem like I slid in your dm, KNOWING I didn’t know you’re a man should be CRIMINAL .. like buddy should real life face jail time tryna pull some sh*t like this.”

The statement comes after Bell responded to a tweet telling American voters to “vote as if your daughter, mother or wife was watching” on Tuesday, Nov. 5, the day of the election. Bell, who endorsed Donald Trump in the 2024 election, retweeted the comment and added, “I don’t want my daughter to have to compete or share a locker room with men.”

In response, OnlyFans model Alexis Hexx retweeted Bell’s comment with a screenshot of him DMing her on X. “What’s goooood,” he allegedly messaged her in the screenshot. Hexx captioned the post, “Spewing this rhetoric when…& yes this was on my NSFW page he knew I was a doll lol.”

In Bell’s statement, he claims, “We facetimed, and I INSTANTLY knew right away you were a man and you got BLOCKED .. this all happened in NOVEMBER 2023! its now NOVEMBER 2024 and all of a sudden you wanna ‘out dl men that supports donald trump.’”

After Hexx’s post started to pick up traction, someone asked Bell if he was having sex with trans women, and he responded by linking to OnlyFans. “Only one way to find out,” he wrote.

Another user asked why Bell hid a reply to one of his tweets that quote-tweeted Hexx’s screenshot, which he ignored. Another person shared a screenshot of Bell’s since-deleted response to Hexx.

“Please tell HIM drop the full convo,” Bell wrote, misgendering Hexx. “I have your number dude, we facetimed and everything lil buddy … When I heard your voice was deeper than mine, you instantly got blocked … lol I seen that Adam’s apple.”

Hexx continued to offer up receipts after Bell deleted his response. “Just don’t talk crazy about transwomen,” she wrote alongside a video showing their alleged exchange in which he asked if she would ever consider coming to Los Angeles. He also asked for her phone number.

Hexx later indicated that she was determined to out all of the celebrities who have hit her up despite supporting Trump, who has spoken against life-saving gender-affirming care.

Bell has since threatened to take legal action: “It’s laughable, but best BELIEVE you won’t get away with this distasteful lie that you tried to trick the internet with, I HOPE YOU GOT GOOD LAWYERS .. buddy got mad because of my support of Donald Trump and decided to trick the internet! lil buddy can be mad about it all he wants, I STILL stand on what I said .. I have ZERO issues/problems with the trans community (just to be clear).. it’s just this ONE is trying to get clout off my name, and that can’t fly .. but I love all of you 🖤 and take that however you want … lol at the end of the day, I STILL DON’T WANT MEN TO COMPETE AGAINST OR SHARE A BATHROOM WITH MY DAUGHTER .. period, I hope this helps 🖤.”Despite’s Bell fear-mongering about locker rooms, less than 1% of the U.S. population (per the Williams Institute) is trans. Marlon Wayans, on the flip side, has been open about his path to accepting his trans son’s gender identity.

Bell has been tweeting almost non-stop since Trump was elected back to the White House. On Wednesday, he claimed that people have speculated he has chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a disease caused by multiple head injuries, because of his Trump support.
