Made in Chelsea star Louise Thompson being treated for septic shock after emergency surgery

Louise Thompson was taken to hospital with septic shock two weeks ago

Louise Thompson is reportedly being treated for septic shock in hospital after another emergency operation.

Her partner Ryan confirmed the upsetting news on their podcast this week.

Ryan said: “I don’t know how much more she can take.”

He said the surgery was completely “unexpected” and said Louise was admitted to the hospital around two weeks ago.

“Sadly Louise is not here this week. She had to go back into hospital almost two weeks ago for another emergency operation in the same tummy area that she’s been recovering from since earlier this year with her stoma surgery.

“It was completely unexpected. It feels very real and my heart rate is skipping around all over the place just talking to you now,” the dad said.

Ryan admitted he felt broken about everything his wife has been going through.

“Her recovery has been up and down. Post-surgery she was in septic shock, which shows the severity of how bad things got,” Ryan added.

“She was heavily medicated, she had all kinds of pipes and tubes and cannulas all over her body so to see that again in intensive care was completely heartbreaking.”

Louise has been incredibly honest about her healthcare struggles and has been documenting them online for years.

The mum is a “birth trauma survivor” and also has a stoma bag after suffering from ulcerative colitis.

The mum was also diagnosed with PTSD after the birth of her son Leo.

Louise was also diagnosed with post-natal anxiety as well as Lupus.

Fans have praised her for being so incredibly honest about her struggles and raising awareness despite all she has been through.
