Draya announced the news on her Instagram accompanying it with an empowering message for all the women around the world. The post featured a carousel of photos of Draya with her belly being the main focus.

Draya already has two sons. Her oldest son, Kniko Howard, is almost the same age as Jalen while her second son, Jru Scandrick, was born in 2016. Draya Michelle is a popular model and entrepreneur who has also been featured on the reality TV show Basketball Wives. She started dating Jalen Green in the summer of 2023.

The news of Draya’s pregnancy is happy news for her and Jalen Green. However, the NBA fans do not share the same sentiments. Most of the fans had furious and puzzled reactions upon hearing the news. They were quick to express their thoughts on social media and some of them heavily criticized the 39-year-old model.

One fan commented, “Draya is a predator, she preyed on the little boy, poor Jalen” highlighting the age difference between Greena and Michele. She called Jalen Green’s girlfriend a predator accusing the model of taking advantage of a young NBA star.

Another fan commented, “She’s the same age as his mom. IDK how these NBA players don’t notice when they’re obviously getting used for their money” highlighting the trend of women using popular athletes for their money and fame. The comment again brought forward the age difference between Green and his girlfriend and underlined it as a matter of concern.

There has been no response by the couple to the criticism and they have chosen to stay silent for now.
