Former rapper Kanye West, now known as Ye, appears to be trying to end his feud with Shaquille O’Neal as he responds to allegations made by fans of Taylor Swift who are trying to boost Beyoncé’s music over his.

Ye took to Instagram on Wednesday after O’Neal was reportedly calling out the rapper on social media earlier this week. In a previous comment on Instagram, Ye wrote that Dov Charney, the founder of American Apparel, “let me sleep at his factory” and “inspired” him to apologize for his anti-Semitic comments, while “others,” including Authentic Brands Group CEO Jamie Salter, “won’t take my calls.”

Ye, also known as Kanye West, went on Instagram to address fans of Shaq and Taylor Swift. O’Neal is the second-largest shareholder in Authentic Brands Group, the company that owns brands such as Rockport and Reebok. In October, he was appointed as chairman of basketball at Reebok.

In a now-deleted comment, O’Neal is alleged to have fired back at Ye, saying “who cares stop… snitchin,” according to screenshots shared by Complex and Daily Mail.

O’Neal, who attended the Super Bowl on Sunday and took photos with Taylor Swift and Salter, continued, “I know you saw me at the Super Bowl, waiting for you to say something intelligent. Keep trying. no one wants to see you cry, kid.”

Ye, also known as Kanye West, took to Instagram to address Shaq and Taylor Swift fans.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday largely dedicated to Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, Ye seems to have addressed Shaq’s comments.

“OH AND LET SHAQ I GROW UP TO FIND YOU I WANT TO BE PACKED WITH YOU AND JAMIE FOR A WHILE JAIMIE SALTER IS THE IMAGE OF MY FATHER,” Ye wrote.

O’Neal had previously criticized Ye on social media in November 2022 while the rapper was widely condemned for his anti-Semitic remarks. A month earlier, Ye had threatened to carry out a “third death for the JEWS,” prompting Adidas to end its partnership with him.
“Shaq is doing business with Jamie Salter,” Ye wrote at the time. “Jaimie first said he’s 50/50 with David Beckham and 50/50 with Shaq. I said ‘Jamie… There’s no such thing as 50/50 in business… Who has 1% more control and voting rights.'”

Shaq fired back at Ye, responding: “Trust me you don’t know me like that. Worry about your business and quote the once-great Kanye West ‘I have more money than you, so why should I listen to you.’ ” He added, “Listen to my advice to sort out your family’s business. Have a good day, bro.”

Ye denies Taylor Swift got him kicked out of Super Bowl Ye’s latest Instagram post also touches on Swift after he quickly celebrated surpassing her to become the top global artist on Spotify. The rapper’s feud with Swift dates back 15 years when he interrupted her at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009 to say that Beyoncé should have won the Best Female Video award.

“REMEMBER I WAS WITH TAYLOR WHEN SCOOTER BOUGHT MY MASTERS BEHIND HER BACK,” Ye wrote, referring to the dispute that led Swift to re-record her earlier albums.

He also shared screenshots of fan accounts encouraging Swift’s fans to stream Beyoncé’s new song “Texas Hold ‘Em” to surpass his latest album, “Vultures, Volume 1.”

Ye also denies recent claims that he tried to sit in front of Swift at the Super Bowl but she got him kicked out of the stadium. Ye insists: “I WAS NOT KICKED OUT OF THE SUPER BOWL. WE LEFT OUR SEATS TO GO TO YG’S BOX AND WATCH DIFFERENT FRIENDS.”
