Shana Mangata claims to have been in a secret relationship with Michael Jackson in the 1990s

A woman who claims to have been Michael Jackson’s secret girlfriend has slammed the child sex abuse allegations against the singer.

Shana Mangatal insists he was a very “passionate” and flirty with women, but was “completely innocent” with kids.

She says she was in relationship with the King of Pop in the 1990s, and was hoping the romance would end in marriage, but it fizzled out.

In an interview with The Sun Online, Shana claims that although Jackson famously enjoying hanging out with young boys – it was obvious he was interested in women.

She said: “He was definitely experienced… And you could tell he loved women…

“He was very loving and passionate.”

She even refutes the allegations made by Wade Robson and James Safechuck in controversial new documentary Leaving Neverland.

Both claim to have been abused by Jackson as children.

Shana commented: “I think it’s awful – these two boys who are accusing him of these things in the documentary were two of his best friends, who he really cared for.

“They were loving towards him and he was loving towards them, but in a pure and innocent way. He would never think that they of all people would turn against him…”

“To him sleeping in the same bed as kids, hanging out it was all so normal.

“He was just so naive about it all and he didn’t realise that these kids had parents and some of them didn’t have the best motives…

“He would be heartbroken about this – but he would never blame the children.”

In 1993 Jordy Chandler, 13, was the first to come forward with allegations of sexual abuse against Jackson.

Police raided the superstar’s home as part of the investigation, but no charges were filed.

Jackson eventually settled the case out of court with the Chandler family for $23 million in which he admitted no wrongdoing.

The King of Pop has been back in the headlines this month after Leaving Neverland screened at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah.

The documentary contains explosive allegations of sexual abuse against children.

Jackson’s family condemned the film in a scathing statement, comparing it to a “public lynching”.
