While the struggling Spurs lost their 17th straight contest, the San Antonio phenom finished with 15 points, 18 rebounds, three assists and five blocks.

It was another monster stat line for Wembanyama, who is averaging 18.8 points and 10.6 rebounds this season after becoming the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Draft.

His biggest highlight of the night arrived midway through the third quarter.

With the Rockets (11-9) holding a six-point lead and the Spurs (3-19) approaching another defeat, Wemby rolled to the basket and received a pass.

The French native jumped upward and slammed home the ball, dunking all over Houston’s Alperen Sengun.

“Somebody needs a body bag!” an announcer said, in awe of Wembanyama’s powerful dunk and finish.

Footage showed Wemby leading with his left arm to create space then hammering home the dunk with his right.

The 7ft 4in rookie went all-in at the basket, then stared down at the hardwood after his huge slam.

“That was terrible,” the announcer said. “And we love it.”

It was one more reminder of how unique Wembanyama has been at the start of his NBA career.

He can drop in a 15-18 night, shake off a potential major injury, then deliver a dunk that devours social media.

Wembanyama also lost another game with the rebuilding Spurs.

The French phenom would surely love to add another win to his surreal stat line.

His next shot is Thursday when San Antonio hosts LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers, who are coming off their NBA Cup trophy.
