Rihanna talks about how having a child altered her life: “I feel like I need to put in more effort than ever before.”
After last night’s unexpected pregnancy announcement and amazing performance, Rihanna proved to everyone that nothing is impossible for her. However, in a promotional interview for Super Bowl LVII, RiRi says that being a parent causes her to question her devotion to things.
“Everything matters now, my son,” she remarked on the debut of The Process, Nate Burleson’s NFL/iHeart podcast. “You really start thinking about a lot of things; skydiving might have to wait for a while. You think a lot about things like that. It’s not worth it.
Rihanna, a singer and entrepreneur, and her partner, A$AP Rocky feels he has changed her life since they had their child (name not yet revealed) in May 2022. “Everything has changed,” she remarked. “It feels like a long time ago; life before my child seems so distant and fuzzy. Very little and hazy. Everything simply got better with him. Things got better. Even if it takes a lot of work, there is nothing more satisfying than that.
After seeing RiRi caressing her tummy during the halftime show, people conjectured about a second pregnancy, which the singer and A$AP later confirmed. Due to her billion-dollar businesses, an Oscar nomination, a child who is almost one year old, and an upcoming baby, fans may have to wait a little longer for her much anticipated second album.
She spoke candidly about how “foreign” it felt to perform once more after a long hiatus of years. “To even be able to do this, I felt like I had to overcome a lot of obstacles,” she said. “I had just become a mother, and I hadn’t performed on tour in seven years. And from there to the SuŁer Bowl. It was one of those things that I knew would be challenging.
