Her stint on Celebrity Big Brother has provided some light relief from the demands of caring for Ozzie, who has a long term condition.

ROCKSTAR Ozzy Osbourne has finally opened up about his wife’s performance on Celebrity Big Brother.

Sharon Osbourne 71, appeared on the ITV show as a ‘house lodger’ for just 8 days, enjoying a separate en-suite bedroom in contrast to the others who were all in together.

Leaving the Big Brother house to a great fanfare last night, the former X Factor judge was greeted by her daughter Kelly, 39, who relayed a message from dad, Ozzy.

Kelly said: “I do have a message from dad. He says call him and that he’s sorry for the long text messages. But he wrote a diary every day of what’s going on so you have the full thing on your phone.”

The TV personality admitted that the main reason she agreed to be reunited with her old X Factor chum, Louis Walsh in the BB house, was to please Ozzy, 75, who loved their double act on the talent show.

The Black Sabbath frontman is such a fan, he even watches old clips of them together online.

Sharon explained: “Since X Factor there’s still clips of Louis and I that go on different sites, I look at them and I think, ‘My God, these are years old and they’re still getting played.”

“And my husband is always looking at them and he’s always saying, ‘Oh God, you and Louis, what a couple’. And so it makes him laugh. And then I think, ‘oh well…’ because Ozzy’s quite hard to make laugh and he just loves watching them.”

Indeed the reason for Sharon’s short stint on the ITV show was that she didn’t want to spend too long away from her husband, who was diagnosed with Parkinsons disease back in 2019.

The mother of three will now be returning to their Los Angeles home to keep an eye on Ozzie, who now suffers mobility issues and nerve pain as well as depression.

The flame haired celeb was greeted by her daughter Kelly who said she enjoyed seeing her mother- who was reportedly paid around £100k a day for her input-having such a good time in the house.

She said: “One of the reasons I loved seeing my mum in the house so much is that I can tell that she was having the best time and watching her have fun was infectious and so you have fun.”
