Her future on ITV is up in the air

HOLLY Willoughby has revealed she’s signed up to host an I’m A Celeb-inspired reality show titled Bear Hunt on Netflix.

It comes as The Sun revealed she was lined up for the fresh series back in January.

The former This Morning host and Dancing On Ice presenter will join forces with survival expert Bear Grylls on the show.

Set in the South American jungle, celebrity contestants will face off against Grylls in various trials with Holly commentating and interviewing the star-studded line-up.

A show insider said it was an exciting new series and a significant challenge for Holly, as it marks her first venture away from terrestrial television.

And Holly has signed on the dotted line, after wrapping DOI.

She’s due to start filming the series later this year and it will hit screens in 2025.

She confirmed the news on Instagram by sharing a post with Netflix and Bear tagged in it.

It said: “Introducing Bear Hunt – this new action-packed competition show sees a group of unlikely British celebrities dropped into the Central American jungle as prey for one of the world’s most fearsome predators… @beargrylls! Hosted by @hollywilloughby – coming to Netflix in 2025.”

A source explained the concept to The Sun in January and said Holly was their first choice to front it.

They said: “Bear is working with a production company for Netflix. They want Holly to host.

“A group of celebrities will be put into a jungle where they will have to tackle a series of challenges.

“If they lose, they’ll have to pit their wits against Bear, who will be hunting them down.

“It’s a really exciting concept and Bear is totally on board. Now they have Holly in their sights to host it.

Holly was a massive hit with viewers when she stepped in for Ant McPartlin on I’m A Celeb in 2018 alongside Declan Donnelly.

This comes as the ITV favourite has reportedly been offered a big money deal to stay on Dancing On Ice.

After last week’s live finale, presenter Holly is out of contract with ITV for the first time in 20 years.
