Welcome back to another episode of “Pettish”! I’m KT, also known as Kayla, and today we have a special guest, Tori Hart, in the building.

Torrei Hart on Going on Tour with Katt Williams, Why She Won't Change her Last Name & More! - YouTube

KT: Hello, hello, hello! Welcome, welcome, welcome to iHeart Radio. Tori: Thank you! You look phenomenal, by the way. KT: Thank you! You too! You girls are so beautiful. Tori: Thank you. So, it’s Pettish, and the first thing that we do is tell the pettiest thing that we’ve done this week. Okay, Kayla, you want to go first? I will give you some time to think about it, Miss Tori Hart.

KT: Alright, so, as you know, the podcast listeners, I had just recently gotten my sister locks or my micro locks, and the woman who did the install cost me $1,500. She ended up blocking me because she kept saying I was wetting my hair, that’s why my locks are coming out, and had really, really bad customer service. She was very self-righteous, holier than thou, knew everything, and ended up blocking me because I questioned her too much. So, I found a new loctician this week. I got my first retwist after being blocked, and she told me that there are holes in some of my locks, which is completely not normal. She said that my parts are very sloppy, I have regular size locks in the middle of my head, and whoever did my initial install didn’t do it right. Now that I got a new loctician, I see what it’s supposed to look like versus what it did look like. Apparently, this woman does this often, and the person I found, my new loctician, she has a lot of the other girl’s old clients, and this is apparently a common trend. So, I have my producer mine going, and this is Pettish, so I’m going to get the names of those other clients, and we are going to let people know: Do not go to this girl. Do not give her $1,500, because she does not know what she’s doing. Say her name. Her name is @lockedbymuk. Avoid it, because she really played in my head, and we’re going to let people know: Don’t give that girl $1,500.

Torrei Hart On Why She Won't Go Back To Her Maiden Name: “I Like 'Hart' Better”

Tori: Well, your hair looks amazing now. It was fixed. KT: And I need to get it fixed more. They need to break these apart, fix my parts. It’s all messed up. Didn’t you used to have locks? Tori: I did. Did you have any crazy lock experiences or crazy locticians?

KT: I didn’t. I actually had the lady who started my locks for me, her name is Sabrina, she’s out here in the LA area, and she did an amazing job. It took actually two days, so she did it. But it was worth it, you know? And I had no complaints. The hair was good. And you, I missed my locks. Why did you take them out?

Tori: You know what? I just got bored. I just wanted to wear weaves again. I wanted to do braids, ’cause I’m a braider. I love braids. I want to do other styles. And so, it just… And I had put weave on top of the locks, and that’s what I heard you can do. I know, but it’s like wearing a helmet. Yeah, it’s like I had a big old helmet on my head, and I was trying to dig with the rat tail comb and all of that. So, I was just like, “You know what? I’mma just go ahead, boop, take them off.”

KT: And don’t you have to wait till it gets to, like, a certain length before it actually falls the way that you want to? I thought about that too, because I felt like it would be easy, but then there’s, like, that awkward phase. Yours looks good, though. I think you want to do it.

Tori: Yeah, I definitely feel like I want to do it. I’ve been really thinking about it recently too, ’cause my hair is, like, you know, my hair, and I got, like, Frederick Douglas hair, so it’s like…

KT: Me too.

Tori: …no, you don’t. You don’t. Little weave attached to it right now. So, I got it slicked down with the edge control, but it’s okay, like, ’cause it works good for locks, you know? And now I got this real big thick afro, you know? So, I’m like, “You know what? I’m thinking I might go back to it.”

KT: And don’t you have a hair care line too?

Tori: I mean, it’s… I haven’t been manufacturing more units now, but I did have Tori Hart Hair, yes.

KT: Yeah, you have a lot. You’re a businesswoman.

Tori: Okay, you get out here. You work. You do it all. You do it all.

KT: You know what? My brain, the way it’s operated, is if it thinks of something, it’s like I have to do it. And if I don’t do it, then I start… It’s like a buildup. It’s like clutter. So, it’s like, “Okay, I gotta get on it. Gotta do it. Gotta do it. Gotta do it.” And then conquer it, do it, and then I’m like, “Okay.” And then it comes up with another idea, like, “Oh my God, let’s do it!”

Tori: I love that energy. That’s what we need around us all the time. All the time.

KT: Hey, Tori, what’s the pettiest thing you did this week?

Tori: Okay, so my Dallas Cowboys, yes. I’m from Cowboy… You know, Cowboy like… Okay, listen, I know, ’cause we were talking earlier. I am from Philly, so people automatically assume that I am an Eagles fan. But my dad raised us to be Cowboys fans. Why? I don’t know. We’ve never lived in Texas, but I’m a Dallas Cowboy. She looked at me like, “Is she…?” So, my Dallas Cowboys, you know, we took that L first round of the playoffs, and the majority of my family, obviously, we’re from Philly, so they’re Eagles fans. Texting me and my dad and my brother, that’s why y’all choked, per usual. And it was bad. So, we had to take it, right? Right? The next day, the Eagles choked in the first round of the playoffs, just as bad as the Cowboys did. So, I texted all my family members, “And what now? What? But y’all choked first, though.”

KT: Oh, so you’re an Eagles girl all day, duh, ’cause you’re from Philly. E-A-G-L-E-S, all day, baby. Oh my God, alright. Fly, Eagles, fly. That’s my pettiest thing.
