According to seismology experts, the dancing crowd during The Eras Tour in Los Angeles, USA created an earthquake, which Western media called Swift quake.

According to People, after a period of research, the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) officially informed the crowd watching the Taylor Swift show at SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles, USA in May. August 2023 creates earthquakes.

Researchers measured seismic phenomena during night five of the Eras Tour Los Angeles using motion sensors. Analytical data from the wave length frequency monitoring chart shows that the dancing below of 70,000 spectators to Taylor Swift’s tune on stage caused an earthquake with the largest local intensity of 0.851.

The Caltech and UCLA study is based on the findings of seismologist Jackie Caplan-Auerbach. Previously, Jackie reported record attendance at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour at Lumen Field in Seattle, US in July resulted in a 2.3 magnitude earthquake. Currently, Western media calls the dance to Taylor Swift “Swift earthquake”.
