Add Beyoncé‘s name to the list of the celebrities rocking 2017’s biggest fashion trend: those $10,000 Saint Laurent sparkly scrunchy boots.
The 36-year-old Grammy winner slipped into the Swarovski-studded shoes, Monday, in a series of style shots shared to her Instagram account. She paired the footwear — beloved by celebs like Kendall Jenner, Céline Dion, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Nene Leakes and Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild — with teeny tiny black denim shorts and a graphic short-sleeve T-shirt.
Upping the ante on accessories in the shoot, Beyoncé cinched her waist with an intricate long white leather belt and layered on a series of cascading gold necklaces and earrings. She carried a $1,495 square MCM Berlin crossbody black bag and wore her waist-length blonde locks — perfected by Neal Farinah — down and straight.
By Beyoncé’s side in one photo was husband JAY-Z, who posed with his wife of nearly a decade as they stood in the cabin of a private jet. The 48-year-old 4:44 rapper kept his outfit it casual in a cream-colored sweatshirt, matching cargo sweatpants and white sneakers. He added a coral hat for a pop of color.
The star also posed in a $720 Gucci AC/DC tee with Ray Ban Clubmasters sunglasses and a $3,375 distressed Dolce & Gabbana patchwork denim jacket, which she cleverly had the word “QUEEN” custom-stitched into the inside of.
Beyoncé’s latest photoshoot came hours after she nabbed her first No. 1 song in nearly a decade, landing at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with her remix to Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect.” The last time she dominated the chart was with 2008’s “Single Ladies” off of her album I Am… Sasha Fierce — which would go on to win the former Destiny’s Child frontwoman six Grammy awards (the most won in one night by any female).
The remix of “Perfect” is Beyoncé’s tenth No. 1 song, overall. Her single before that (the remix of “Mi Gente”) peaked at No. 3. Beyoncé’s last album, Lemonade, only streamed on Tidal — therefore impacting her higher chart placement possibilities.
Meanwhile, after weathering a cheating scandal, Beyoncé and JAY-Z are still “Crazy in Love” thanks to their 5-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.
“It was very rough for them to stay married,” the source added. “It took Beyoncé a long time to trust again. She was struggling to move on and forgive. But keeping her family together was very important.”
Just two months before purchasing an $88 million Bel Air mansion, the two expanded their family even more — welcoming twins Rumi and Sir. “Having more babies together made them even closer,” added the insider. “[They] are very proud that they overcame huge marital issues and happy they were able to move on as a family.”
