Beyoncé is also the first female artist to top both the Hot Country Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hip Songs charts since the lists’ inception in 1958.

The song “Texas Hold ‘Em” marked one of many historic achievements for this black female artist.

This song helped her become the second female solo artist after Taylor Swift to top this music chart.

The Hot Country Songs chart is a chart based on multiple criteria such as sales, streams, and radio airplay in the US, much like Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

In the past, female or black artist names were often “unlucky” on Billboard’s Country music chart. Therefore, this victory of “queen bee” Beyoncé is a turning point that paves the way for female artists and artists of color to break this chart.

The song “Texas Hold ‘Em,” released on February 11, reached number one on the above chart in just four days. According to entertainment data company Luminate, the song has been streamed 19.2 million times and downloaded 39,000 times in the US
