The list of the richest self-made women in America was released by Forbes on June 1 (US time). The ranking includes the most successful businesswomen, directors, and entertainers in the United States. This list includes 100 people, divided into specific industry groups.

In the music industry, Rihanna is the richest artist in America with a net worth of $1.4 billion, surpassing Taylor Swift in second place with $740 million. If considered out of a total of 100 ranked individuals, Rihanna ranked 20th, and Taylor Swift ranked 34th.
Explaining the nearly double difference between Rihanna and Taylor Swift, Forbes said singer Rihanna’s income comes from music and the Fenty Beauty cosmetics brand that she has built, while Taylor Swift only has income from music.
Over the past year, Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty brand has done well with revenue doubling last year. The female singer also has a 30% stake in the Savage x Fenty underwear brand – a company that has been valued at $1 billion.
