With 3.1 million followers, Paige Spiranac tops the list of hottest golfers on Instagram, even surpassing legendary athlete Tiger Woods.
“There are two main reasons. My golf knowledge and personality”, Paige Spiranac (born 1993, USA) shared with a list of golfers with the most followers on Instagram, according to the New York Post.
Among them, Spiranac ranked first with 3.1 million followers, 400,000 more than the second ranked professional athlete Tiger Woods.
Next is professional golfer Rory Mcilroy (UK) with 2.2 million followers. He is also the only non-US citizen in the top 10.
The fact that Paige Spiranac “surpassed” many professional golfers in the number of followers on her personal account did not surprise many netizens.
In 2015, Spiranac emerged as a new breeze in the golf world thanks to his supermodel appearance. A year later, she won a professional tournament on the Cactus Tour at Orange Tree Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.
However, after an unsuccessful attempt to qualify for the LPGA (Women’s Professional Golf Association), she retired from professional golf later that year.
With a large number of followers on Instagram, Spiranac is known as the hottest female golfer in the sports industry.
The 28-year-old beauty also took advantage of her fame to develop her career in the sports media industry. Currently, she is the brand ambassador for online sports site PointsBet which has a main partnership with NBC Sports.
On social networks, Spiranac regularly guides fans on how to play golf. The female golfer once shared her story of being discriminated against and criticized for pursuing a sexy style of clothing. However, she did not change her personal style and affirmed that her success was not due to the type of clothes she wore.
