She rocked a mini dress that resembled a disco ball, paired with matching over-the-knee boots. Her performance started with a fierce laugh, followed by a powerful rendition of the song, surrounded by a group of backup dancers.
Taylor Swift’s presence at the AMAs is a special sight to see, as the usually private Grammy winner doesn’t often make public appearances. Other than showing up at the Billboard Music Awards earlier this year, she hasn’t been seen at an awards show since her last performance at the 2016 Grammys where she sang her hit song “Out of the Woods” from the album 1989.
