They say some trains only come once in a lifetime, but Taylor Swift doesn’t seem to mind that hers will have $9 million inside it.
The singer turned down a private concert in the United Arab Emirates last December. Solo artist French Montana presented evidence of the push to book the Pennsylvania artist, but Swift said ‘no’ without batting an eyelid.
His response was yes, but without the other artist’s ‘yes’ there was nothing to be done. “Someone just sent me a show offer, who do you think it’s $9 million for hahaha?” he wrote at the time.
In a recent interview on VladTV, the singer revealed that the other artist was Taylor Swift, but the singer decided to decline the offer on the spot. Money is far from being a problem for the creator of the ‘Eras Tour’. Recently, Forbes has included her in its list of billionaires in 2024. This is the first time that a singer has been included in this select group just for her work on stage.
The magazine has estimated Taylor Swift’s fortune at around $1.1 billion, so the offer, which would be unreasonable for any of us mortals, represents a small amount compared to her net worth. The Pennsylvania artist has shared her ‘Eras Tour’ in one of the most successful shows worldwide. So much so that Disney + has taken the plunge to buy the rights to broadcast it.
In addition, according to Forbes magazine, Swift has become the first singer to become a multi-millionaire based on her songs and performances alone. So they do not take into account everything generated off stage, a variant that would greatly increase her total fortune.
