With only a week left until this year’s Met Gala takes place, according to Page Six sources, Taylor Swift will walk the red carpet in fashion’s biggest night.

Since late last month, there has been much speculation about whether Taylor and her boyfriend – Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce – will attend the so-called fashion Oscars event. TMZ recently reported that both had received invitations but confirmed that the couple had not said whether to go or not.

However, according to Page Six’s latest source, Taylor Swift will attend this lavish event. But there’s still no word on whether Kelce will go with her or not.

The annual Met Gala gala, as usual, falls on the first Monday of May and will take place on May 6 this year (US time). Meanwhile, Taylor is not scheduled to kick off her global Eras tour until May 9 in Paris, France.

Taylor Swift has attended the Met Gala six times before, rocking looks from famous brands like Louis Vuitton, Oscar de la Renta, J. Mendel and Badgley Mischka. She first ascended the iconic steps of the Met Gala in 2008, and her last appearance was in 2018.

As Page Six previously reported, other A-list stars who made the list for this year’s exclusive event include Rihanna, Kendall Jenner and Gisele Bündchen. Other new faces who received the party’s gilded invitations included Killers of the Flower Moon star Lily Gladstone and The Bear actress Ayo Edebiri.

Olivia Rodrigo, Uma Thurman, Sarah Paulson and Cara Delevingne – regular guests of the Met Gala will also be present.

Co-chairs of this year’s event include Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth, Bad Bunny and Jennifer Lopez.
