According to Guinness World Records, Taylor Swift’s Era Tour has surpassed $1 billion in revenue, becoming the highest-grossing music tour member in history.
Before Taylor Swift’s achievement at age 33, 76-year-old Elton John held this record thanks to a series of farewell concerts, ending in Sweden in July 2023 after 5 years and earning $939 million.
Eras Tour is a large-scale tour to pay tribute to the golden moments of Taylor Swift’s illustrious 17-year career. Eras Tour, which started in March and is expected to end in December next year, will be held in many European and Asian countries with a total of 151 shows.
Since its inception, the Eras Tour has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics, who have praised the concept and quality production as well as Taylor Swift’s performance.

The singer’s ardent fans have flocked to see their idol, crashing ticket sites, even causing earthquake-like seismic activity at some shows as happened in Seattle in July. With about 72,000 people attending each concert and an average ticket price of about $238, the tour is grossing more than $17 million per show.
According to Pollstar, 4.3 million tickets have been sold to date, and with this trajectory, the tour could realistically gross more than $2 billion if all remaining scheduled shows go ahead.
With plans to release music and continue her Eras Tour, Taylor Swift is sure to rack up even more Guinness titles in 2024.
