Mike Tyson posted another clip of his training camp ahead of his ring return.
Mike Tyson has sent a chilling warning to Jake Paul ahead of their summer showdown.
The boxing legend’s decision to return to the ring for the first time since his exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr hasn’t gone down well among the combat sports world.
Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn finds it incredibly sad he’s coming back while UFC CEO Dana White pulled no punches as he shared his honest thoughts.
However, Joe Rogan has backed Tyson to beat Paul.
On Thursday, the 57-year-old started his training camp as he showed off his hand speed and power.
He’s uploaded another clip of himself going through his paces.
The footage shows Tyson hitting the pads with his coach Rafael Cordeiro and working on his endurance.
The video ends with Tyson issuing a terrifying message to Paul.
Tyson is clearly taking his fight against Paul very, very seriously as he makes his first appearance in a ring since November 2020.
He enjoyed a decorated professional career, winning the world heavyweight title – beating the likes of Trevor Berbick, Larry Holmes and Frank Bruno.
As for Paul, he boasts a 9-1 professional record and recently scored a big win over Ryan Bourland.
He has scalps over the likes of Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz.
The sole blemish on his record is a defeat to Tommy Fury.
In a statement, ‘Iron’ Mike said: “[Paul has] grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a ‘kid’ can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT.
“It’s a full-circle moment that will be beyond thrilling to watch, as I started him on his boxing journey on the undercard of my fight with Roy Jones, and now I plan to finish him.”
