Brawls are common in the NBA as Basketball is a physical sport and most recently Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nets star Dennis Schroder got into a brawl of words. The video of the incident is making rounds on social media with the leaked audio of the conversation between the stars.
Schroder was mad at the officials for not observing some fouls on the court. Later on, he paid the Bucks star back and he retaliated. However, no major punishments were handed out to either player for their altercation on the court.
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s heated message to Dennis Schroder revealed
The Milwaukee Bucks faced the Brooklyn Nets in a tense game after the star players from both games were caught up in a heated moment. The exchange between the stars began when Giannis Antetokounmpo fouled Dennis on a drive attempt which resulted in the Nets star falling on the ground. Schroder urged the referees to look at the action and check for flagrant fouls.
The referees ruled out the foul as an accident, later on, Schroder fouled Giannis Antetokounmpo in an attempt to secure the ball. The Bucks star lashed back at the German international and he reminded him of a similar incident that occurred earlier in the game. “You did the same thing right there… you did the same thing to me,” said Schroder. However, Giannis Antetokounmpo was quick to call out the Nets star on his deliberate attempt. “You did that on purpose,” said Giannis
The Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is quite a nice person, he doesn’t have a record of getting into trouble with other players in the league. He rarely has been seen trash-talking other players in the league. Even when other players try to trash-talk him, his responses are always humble.
The Greek Freaks’ struggles with trash-talking were revealed openly when he appeared on an ESPN talk show. The Bucks star was asked to showcase his trash-talking abilities with his target being the Nuggets star Nikola Jokic. However, the Bucks star was unable to get nasty with his words no matter how hard he tried.
