With a huge number of participants, Taylor’s fans had to compete for precious tickets to attend the show. For those fans who are unlucky enough to compete for tickets, buying back tickets from intermediaries is the best option.

Tickets to The Eras Tour became rare because of the large number of spectators.

However, this situation creates conditions for many individuals to take advantage of for business and fraud. Specifically, on forums sharing experiences participating in The Eras Tour, it is not difficult for audiences to come across many accounts posting to resell tickets at “exorbitant” prices.

A VIP 1 ticket is for sale for 53 million VND, although the original price of this area is 1228 S$(nearly 30 million VND). A series of fake accounts also use the trick of asking to buy tickets to steal sellers’ information and emails, then use them as tools to scam others.

Many Swifties in Vietnam are currently facing a serious problem when booking tickets at a famous fan page in exchanging tickets. Specifically, star grocery – a group specializing in buying and reselling famous concert tickets was unable to provide tickets to The Eras Tour in Singapore on time for many viewers attending the concert on March 2.

The reason given by star grocery is that Ticketmaster – the official provider of show tickets – unilaterally canceled the group’s tickets, causing many Swifties tickets to be canceled (despite paying in advance).

The news quickly left a number of fans devastated, especially when there were only a few hours before The Eras Tour took place on the first night. Some fans were furious at not being able to enter the stadium and had to struggle to buy new tickets.

When asked for a ticket refund, star grocery representatives only apologized and promised to resolve the affected customers soon. However, this apology is not enough to compensate for the losses experienced by fans, many people do not hesitate to affirm that they will sue the star grocery if they do not receive the original amount back.

As for why star grocery has gained so much trust from Swifties in Vietnam, one victim in the incident said that because he witnessed star grocery successfully buy tickets at The Eras Tour stage in Japan, he did not hesitate to send money to this group. To this day, star grocery still receives a barrage of outrage from former customers and bystanders.
