Lady Gaga had a bittersweet day yesterday, as her album with Tony Bennett was nominated for a Grammy award, but meanwhile Twitter was ablaze with speculation over the whether the star was pregnant.

The chose a Jessica Rabbit-inspired gown for when she stepped out in New York earlier this week, but fans were quick to point out her fuller figure.

Several outlets including the Daily Star speculated over whether Gaga was “pregnant with her first child”.

Now a rep for the Paparazzi singer has told Gossip Cop that the pregnancy rumours as “not true”.

The 28-year-old, who has been pushing her new album with the legendary singer Tony Bennett, has been hopping in and out of several different costumes in recent weeks – and on the same day as the red dress was seen in a tight blue onesie, with no hint of a bump whatsoever.

Gaga, who has been dating her boyfriend Taylor Kinney for several years, has not addressed the speculation on her social networking pages.
