The Road to WrestleMania is rolling along, and the March 18 edition of WWE Raw continued to deliver important moments in building the card.

Becky Lynch went to war with Nia Jax again, putting her down definitively in a show-stealing Last Woman Standing match.

Cody Rhodes shot hard on The Rock, calling out The Great One’s bad attitude and refusal to let the future of WWE flourish.

Drew McIntyre again laid down a warning to Seth Rollins, but The Visionary made The Scottish Warrior question his resolve.

Ricochet pulled out a surprise victory over Dominik Mysterio, putting an exclamation mark on a bad night for The Judgment Day that also included wins from DIY, New Day and Awesome Truth to qualify for the six-pack tag team ladder match at The Show of Shows on April 6-7.

It was a big show at an important time for WWE. Who continued to step up ahead of WrestleMania?

Rhea Ripley Losing Momentum as Becky Lynch Heats Up

1 OF 4

Becky Lynch is on the run of a lifetime. Indeed, since her career-defining battle with Trish Stratus inside a steel cage last September, The Man has been untouchable in the ring.

Week after week, she is outwrestling the entire locker room, and she has gained definitive momentum as a title challenger.

The story is for Lynch to dethrone Rhea Ripley, but it should be focused on Mami further solidifying herself as the star of the division.

In order to regain that focus and prove she is the right woman to continue carrying the WWE women’s division, the women’s world champion cannot simply stand in the background anymore.

Ripley needs to do something memorable, adding to the highlight reel for the ‘Mania showdown. This could mean a big match with Liv Morgan that steals the show or a promo no one will forget.

It could mean a brawl backstage that serves as a preview for The Show of Shows, leaving some battle wounds on herself and The Man.

Mami needs to go big because Lynch already looks ready for The Grandest Stage of Them All.

WWE Relying Too Much on The Rock For Reigns-Rhodes Feud

Cody Rhodes has said his piece about The Rock.

Responding to a memorable concert by The Great One on Friday, The American Nightmare pulled out a full worked shoot promo that had everyone talking.

It is time to refocus on the true main event of WrestleMania 40, the battle for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship between Rhodes and Roman Reigns.

The Tribal Chief has slowly but surely lost his hold on the top spot in WWE. While that was inevitable with the rise of The American Nightmare, he has also been overshadowed by a returning Rock.

While Reigns’ name is brought up consistently in promos, it never feels like he is truly respected as the No. 1 guy in this rivalry.

On Friday, Rhodes and The Tribal Chief will meet one-on-one in the ring. This is the best chance to bring the focus back to the singles match that matters most.

Leave The Rock out of both men’s words. Focus on the heartbreaking loss at WrestleMania 39. Give Reigns a chance to gloat and remind the world that he ruined The American Nightmare’s dream once already

Drew McIntyre Must Squash Seth Rollins at WrestleMania

3 OF 4

The story of Seth Rollins is one of divided attention. He has promised to do everything in his power to topple The Bloodline while also defending his World Heavyweight Championship.

Drew McIntyre has a singular focus, and he should achieve that goal. He needs to be the next world champion of Raw.

More importantly, he needs to be established as truly unstoppable. He should make Rollins pay for underestimating him as a threat for the World Heavyweight Championship.

The Scot won his first WWE Championship in a four-minute dominant display against Brock Lesnar. His world title WrestleMania challenge this year should be even shorter and more impressive.

WWE has a chance to create a new dominant heel, one who will gladly flaunt his victory while also looking unstoppable for months to come.

The two men have already wrestled straightforward matches together on multiple occasions. There is no reason to do the same again when a statement can be made.

Ricochet Needs Major Post-WrestleMania Push

4 OF 4

Every year, Ricochet’s push looks to be right around the corner but never comes.

This time, though, it could be for real, with Triple H backing The One and Only following a phenomenal gauntlet performance last week.

He defeated Dominik Mysterio, a man who has been decently protected in the past year in the midcard scene. WWE should keep this momentum going once WrestleMania is done.

Ricochet has no clear spot on the card for The Show of Shows, but a few more strong wins in the coming weeks could set him up as an exciting fresh challenger to Drew McIntyre soon.

There is no one on the roster who can match his athleticism. While he can still work at peak velocity, WWE should push him as an underdog who can frustrate even the most dangerous opponents.
