What the critics don’t always like, fans can still love. This is also evident on Rotten Tomatoes  , where the ratings vary greatly . The reviews give Law of Vengeance a rating of 26 percent, while the audience rates it at 75 percent . The film also received a strong 7.7 on Moviepilot.

The popularity of the film is probably mainly due to the sophisticated revenge campaign that Butler’s character pursues and which offers a lot of tension and twists. Law of Vengeance is definitely a true classic of its genre .
