To mark the debut of her fresh cosmetics line, Haus Laboratories, Lady Gaga made a grand entrance at a restaurant in Los Angeles, dressed in a vegan leather dress and a luxurious feather coat. The pre-sale for Haus items officially launched on Monday.

Despite her recent Oscar triumph and induction into the Academy, it would be premature and superficial to assume that Gaga has abandoned her signature eccentric style.

The pop sensation, known for her daring fashion choices, proved this just last Wednesday when she showed up at a West Hollywood restaurant in a tight-fitting faux-leather black dress from the Anouki Autumn-Winter 2019 Collection. Accompanied by an extravagant ostrich feather coat and a single, floor-length crystal earring, Gaga completed her look with towering pointed boot platforms courtesy of Pleaser Shoes, according to Page Six.

Although there was no real occasion, Wednesday’s event celebrated the launch of Haus Laboratories, Gaga’s makeup line that aims to empower self-expression and reinvention by promoting kindness and bravery, as stated on the brand’s website.

The creation of Haus is a collaborative effort between Gaga and her longtime makeup artist and friend, Sarah Tanno. Tanno shared an Instagram video of Gaga using Haus products during a pre-party grooming session, and also posted an endearing picture of the pair posing inside the restaurant.
