Guy Ritchie and Henry Cavill are back with another glorious hit of deliciously witty comedy, fight, sequences, and gunfire in The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare’s first trailer.
The director is infamous for his unique style of movies from The Gentlemen, Sherlock Holmes, Snatch, and more. He’s reuniting with The Man from U.N.C.L.E. star Henry Cavill for a new brutal and thrilling adventure involving espionage and saving the world.
The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare is based on a true World War II story involving the Special Operations Executive. Created by Winston Churchill, the group is made up of rough renegades who are tasked with taking down German forces and Nazis. Their mission and tactics gave way to modern-day black op operations and changed the outcome of the war.
Guy Ritchie’s movie is everything fans would expect and more. Its cast not only includes Henry Cavill, but Reacher star Alan Ritchson, Eiza González, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusanmokun, Henrique Zaga, Til Schweiger, with Henry Golding, and Cary Elwes. The official first trailer for The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare is marvelous.
Henry Cavill & Alan Ritchson are Nazi hunters in new Guy Ritchie trailer
Henry Cavill is a busy actor set to star in Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming spy-comedy action movie Argylle. As the actor takes on a mysterious and suave spy role, The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare once again has him go undercover to save the country.
The official storyline reads, “The top-secret combat unit, composed of a motley crew of rogues and mavericks, goes on a daring mission against the Nazis using entirely unconventional and utterly ‘ungentlemanly’ fighting techniques. Ultimately their audacious approach changed the course of the war and laid the foundation for the British SAS and modern Black Ops warfare.”
The trailer opens with Gus March Phillips (Cavill) being given a mission to deter German boats in the North Atlantic. Hitler isn’t playing nice and they are losing the war. The only way to gain an upper hand is by playing dirty right back. Cavill’s character appears as not the most well-loved person by the government but is the perfect man for the job.
Based on a true story of the first Black Ops mission, Gus wants only the best for his team. A group of unhinged renegades. Absolutely mad people – and it might just work. The trailer for The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare displays the cast’s unique characters who aren’t cookie-cutter heroes.
Explosions, gunfire, and a bit of roughhousing, and hunting Nazis are perfectly mixed with Ritchie’s comedy style making The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare a must-watch in 2024.
The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare is set to premiere on April 19, 2024.
