The third season of Reacher has added several cast members, with one character sounding like an evil version of Alan Ritchson’s Jack Reacher.

Amazon has revealed several new cast members, and the characters they will play, in Reacher season 3. The hugely popular Prime Video series, which stars Alan Ritchson as the titular Jack Reacher, is all set to return for another round. The third season will throw the man-mountain into a mission for the DEA, with one character in particular having intriguing ties to Reacher himself.

Set to join the series (via Variety) as the “physically imposing and intimidating” Quinn is Brian Tee, who is best known for the likes of The Wolverine, Jurassic World, and for playing Shredder alongside Ritchson’s Raphael in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. A lieutenant colonel “whom Reacher investigated years ago,” Quinn is now a highly skilled and ruthless criminal who will no doubt prove to be an interesting foil for Reacher.

Next up is Johnny Berchtold (Dog Gone, The Passenger), who will star in Reacher season 3 as Richard Beck, “a college student who lost his mother when he was very young and the son of businessman Zachary Beck.” Businessman Zachary Beck, meanwhile, will be played by The Breakfast Club and Halloween Kills star Anthony Michael Hall.

Roberto Montesinos (Father Stu, The Zombie Farm) joins the series as Guillermo Villanueva, “a DEA agent on the verge of retirement and mentor/father figure to agent Susan Duffy,” with Daniel David Stewart (Catch 22, For All Mankind) on board as Steven Elliot, “a rookie DEA agent who is fresh-faced and new to the job.”

These new additions will join Alan Ritchson, who once again takes the lead as Jack Reacher, and Maria Sten as Frances Neagley, a corporate security professional who served with Reacher in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit.

The first season of Reacher was released in 2022 and introduces Ritchson as the title character, a former U.S. Army Military Police Major now living as a nomad who suddenly finds himself dragged back into action when he is arrested for murder.

The second season, which is based on the 11th book in author Lee Child’s renowned series of novels, picks up with the titular character who, after members of his old military unit start turning up dead, has just one thing on his mind: revenge. Reacher has been a huge success for the streamer, becoming the number one series on Amazon Prime Video for 2023.
