Since her two children, Noah and Bodhi, came along, the world has heard little from Transformers star Megan Fox. She’s still making movies. But she’s rarely seen in the limelight much these days.

Nonetheless, it’s hard to fully erase Fox from one’s memory when thinking back to her days in Transformers and Jennifer’s Body, among others. To many, Fox is the epitome of foxiness.

Obviously people have a point. She’s not exactly ugly, is she? However, the things that spurt out of Megan Fox’s mouth aren’t as pretty as her physical appearance. Sometimes what she says is downright strange.

The amazing thing about Fox, aside from that stunning face of course, is that she’s so down to earth and really doesn’t care what she says. This makes her all the more mesmerizing. 15. Zac Efron is My Obsession, We’re the Same Person

Lots of women love Zac Efron for obvious reasons. Megan Fox, on the other, took her liking for him to a whole other level. She’s obsessed with him to the point that she believes they’re the same person. ‘’Zac Efron is my obsession, we’re the same person,’’ said Fox. ‘’We’re not actually here, it’s like Janet and Michael Jackson. He just puts on his wig and a dress, and it’s me, and you don’t know that. It’s one of the greatest mysteries of all time.’’

It’s certainly a mystery to everyone reading this quote. Zac Efron and Megan Fox….the same person??? Okay, so maybe, if you squint your eyes a bit, you can see a resemblance between the two. The dark hair, the light eyes, the pretty features. That’s about all.

14. Being a Celebrity is Like Being a Sacrificial Lamb

It was reported that Megan Fox once said, ‘’I’ve learned that being a celebrity is like being a sacrificial lamb. At some point, no matter how high the pedestal that they put you on, they’re going to tear you down.’’ She has a point here. It’s tough being a celebrity. Always followed around by paparazzi, cameras in your face, no privacy, constantly being criticized and condemned…it doesn’t sound like much fun, does it?

Comparing it to being a sacrificial lamb? Kind of a strange comparison, don’t you agree? Megan Fox is smart, though. She has a really unique way of expressing herself and the points she wants to make, which makes you want to listen to her. Even if some of the things she says are a bit odd.

13. I Want to Be as Pretty as Robert Pattinson

Especially when Twilight first came out, Robert Pattinson was a big deal and an ultra sex symbol in Hollywood. All the girls loved Pattinson. One of those girls was co-star Kristen Stewart, who he dated for a brief amount of time.

Another person who had a soft spot for Robert Pattinson was Megan Fox. In fact, she didn’t just like him, she wanted to look like him. ‘’I want to be as pretty as Robert Pattinson,’’ Megan Fox once said. You rarely hear of a girl wanting to look like a guy, do you?

But Megan Fox doesn’t mince her words. She says exactly what she thinks and, whilst some of those things can be weird, you’ve got to admire her honesty – and, may I add, bravery.

12. I Could Go Days, Weeks, Without Talking to Another Human Being

Megan Fox may be a star but she has openly admitted to being a bit of a hermit. She’s not a social butterfly, by all means. She’s said, on several occasions, that she likes to stay at home playing video games with her husband, Brian Austin Green. She’d take that over attending fancy Hollywood events any day.

But it’s not just Hollywood she escapes from. Megan Fox is such a homebody, she once admitted ‘’I could go days, weeks, without talking to another human being.’’ She seems pretty comfortable with her own company.

At least she admits it! Not everyone would. Could you go weeks without talking to another person? I’m sure everybody’s capable of it but it doesn’t mean we’d enjoy it. I can’t speak for Fox.

11. I Don’t Like Dry Paper

Everybody has their likes and dislikes, their strange like quirks. Megan Fox’s is dry paper. The common dislikes I’ve heard include spiders, cigarette smoke, worms and the dark. I’ve not heard of anyone disliking dry paper until now. Let’s hear why Fox doesn’t like it. ‘’I don’t like dry paper,’’ she said. ‘’Scripts, newspapers or anything that’s not laminated, I have to keep licking my fingers.

If I’m reading, I have a cup of water to dip my fingers in. I’m really neurotic.’’ Ah, now that makes more sense. I love the fact she’s so candid about everything in her life. She reveals things most people wouldn’t dare admit through the fear of being labelled ‘’weird,’’ but Fox doesn’t care. She’s unapologetic and that’s just awesome!

10. I Forget to Flush the Toilet

Not many people would admit this but Megan Fox did. She once revealed, ‘’I’m horrible to live with. I don’t clean. My clothes end up wherever I take them off. I forget to flush the toilet.’’ Most celebrities are pretty guarded when it comes to discussing their private life and even more so about their gross habits.

I mean, it’s not every day you hear someone confessing to not flushing the toilet or not cleaning. Not many people would admit that they’re horrible to live with either.

Fox is one of a kind in that sense. She’s really guarded in some ways but incredibly open in other ways. She doesn’t like going to Hollywood events and prefers staying home but she’s happy to discuss her gross hygiene habits.

Megan Fox once revealed her girl crush and when you hear who it is, you’ll agree that this woman has good taste. ‘’I could see myself in a relationship with a girl,’’ said Fox. ‘’Olivia Wilde is so sexy she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox with my bare hands.

She’s mesmerizing.’’ Megan Fox is equally as mesmerizing though. I’m sure she’s the girl crush of many girls. Nonetheless, it’s a kind of weird thing to say. Olivia Wilde makes her want to strange a mountain ox? You’ve got to admit, that is a little bizarre. There are better, less sadistic ways to express your lust for someone.

8. I’ll Starve to Death Before I’ll Cook for Myself

Not everyone is a Jamie Oliver in the kitchen. Gourmet dishes don’t just appear with a bit of stirring here and a bit of seasoning there for everyone. A lot of people find cooking tough work. Some people hate cooking. Megan Fox, it appears, is one of these people.

She once went as far as proclaiming ‘’I’ll starve to death before I’ll cook for myself. I think I could survive a week without eating.’’ I know cooking isn’t for everyone but being willing to starve to death before making a meal for yourself? That’s nuts!

Cooking can actually be a lot of fun if you have the time and a good recipe to follow. There’s really no need to ‘’starve to death.’’ Thanks to Google, a simple search can supply you with a host of tasty, easy and quick recipes.

7. I Have No Friends and I Never Leave the House

I guess a lot of people could agree with her on this one. With all the social media sites providing you with an online mode of communication, some people really don’t feel the need to leave the house or have friends. Megan Fox admits she is that kind of person but more so because of her career: ‘’I have no friends and I never leave my house.

You just have to make a choice to just refuse to be involved with things that could get you in trouble. It’s easy when you feel upset or depressed about something to want to go to a club and want to drink, but instead I just force myself to sit and feel it and deal with it, and try to grow from it, because I don’t want to go down that path.

I’m one of the most isolated people in existence right now, but it’s worth it because if I wasn’t making that decision I would be throwing away my career.’’

6. Every Time Someone Uses a Bathroom and They Flush, All the Bacteria is Shot into the Air

Kind of weird thing to say, don’t you think? But Megan Fox seems to talk a lot about hygiene. You saw the quote a few quotes back when she admitted she doesn’t clean the house. Now she’s commenting on the bacteria that spurts into the air when someone flushes the toilet.

‘’Every time someone uses a bathroom and they flush, all the bacteria is shot into the air,’’ said Fox. When you think about it, it really is kind of gross. And you can see the logic of it but it’s probably something you just haven’t thought about all that much. As weird as it sounds, a lot of bacteria really does shoot into the air with one single flush of a toilet. It’s disgusting!

5. I’m Pretty Sure I’m a Doppelganger For Alan Alda

In an interview with E!’s Giuliana DePandi Rancic, Megan Fox physically compared herself to Alan Alda: ‘’I’m pretty sure I’m a doppelganger for Alan Alda. I’m a trannie [sic]; I’m a man. I’m so painfully insecure.

I’m on the verge of vomiting now. I am so horrified that I am here, and embarrassed. I’m scared,” she said.’’ In case you don’t know who Alan Alda is (I didn’t!), he’s an actor. He’s starred in movies such as M*A*S*H, What Women Want, The Aviator and Bridge of Spies.

Personally, I don’t see the resemblance. How can Fox compare herself to Alda? They look nothing alike. Take a look for yourself and see what you think. I think the whole Zac Efron comparison thing made a lot more sense. Also, what’s up with the derogatory terms, Megan?

4. When You Think About it, We Actors Are Kind of Prostitutes

Some of the things that come out of Megan Fox’s mouth are sort of weird but they’re also sort of smart and wise. A lot of what she says makes sense, she just words it in a way that’s a little odd.

Like when she compared actors to prostitutes, I think the woman had a point. It’s a smart metaphor. ‘’When you think about it, we actors are kind of prostitutes,’’ said Fox. ‘’We get paid to feign attraction and love.

Other people are paying to watch us kissing someone, touching someone, doing things people in a normal monogamous relationship would never do with anyone who’s not their partner. It’s really kind of gross.’’ When you think about it, what she says really does ring true.

3. I Believe in All of These Irish Myths, Like Leprechauns

Megan Fox once said, ‘’I believe in all of these Irish myths, like leprechauns. Not the pot of gold, not the Lucky Charms leprechauns. But maybe was there something in the traditional sense? I believe that this stuff came from somewhere other than people’s imaginations.’’

Old myths can be fascinating. I know a lot of people think they’re called myths for a reason but I agree with Fox on this one.

There’s got to be some truth in them. Sure, they may have derived from people’s imaginations but, like Fox said, they’ve got to have come from somewhere else. So maybe, just maybe, leprechauns really do exist. This type of fairy, known from Irish folklore, could very well have existed or still exist even today.

2. I’ve Never Really Socialized

‘’I’ve never really socialized; I’ve always been anti-social and preferred to be at home,’’ Megan Fox once admitted. ‘’I was never, even my late teens and early twenties, into clubs and parties and stuff like that.’’ Wow! She’s a rare one. So many people love clubs and parties – especially when they’re in their late teens or twenties.

As a matter of fact, many people couldn’t survive without clubs and parties. Megan Fox is not your average person though. She’s one of a kind.

She prefers hanging out at home with her hubby rather than going out to parties. At least she’s confident enough to admit it and be honest about it. Parties are fun but sometimes there’s no better place to hang out and chill than at home.

1. I Hate Receiving Compliments

Who hates receiving compliments? Megan Fox, apparently. ‘’I hate receiving compliments; I hate being told I’m talented or people think I’m going to be a movie star,’’ explained Fox. ‘’I always feel that it’s forced and fake.’’ Now everybody’s heard the full quote, and it’s been put into context, it makes a bit more sense now. Still, she hates receiving compliments?

Whether someone tells you that your hair looks great or your shoes are pretty or that you did great work, it is always nice to receive a compliment. Then again, in Hollywood, people say it’s all very fake so I guess the compliments are not going to be so authentic. Megan Fox is definitely authentic.
