Cardi B is diving headfirst into her newfound single life post-split from Offset. The 31-year-old hip-hop sensation parted ways with fellow rapper Offset in December 2023 after a six-year marriage. With her two kids, Kulture, five, and Wave, three, in tow, she’s been navigating the single life while immersing herself back into her work.

In an Instagram Live session, she candidly shared, “I’ve been adjusting to this new chapter in my personal life, and it’s been a bit of a journey. Juggling work commitments alongside this transition has its challenges, but I’m handling it. I wouldn’t say it’s been easy, but I’m not dwelling in a negative space. It’s just different, you know?”

“Between the ages of 19 and 22, I felt incredibly isolated. I intentionally pushed people away and zeroed in on my work.”

The acclaimed ‘WAP’ artist, who dropped her debut album ‘Invasion of Privacy’ back in 2016 and consistently churns out singles, finds herself back in that familiar headspace once more. Though she’s withdrawn from others, she’s eager to channel her energy into creating new music.

She reflected, “It’s like I’ve come full circle in life, back to that solitary place again.”

Cardi B Celebrates New Year With Offset, Denies Being Back Together

“I’ve decided to step back from close connections with people. My focus now is on releasing my music and exploring new ventures,” Cardi shared candidly.

Opening up about her recent split, Cardi confessed to grappling with how to share the news with her fans. In a Live video on Instagram, she acknowledged the speculation surrounding her and Offset’s relationship after they unfollowed each other on the platform. “I’ve been single for a while now, but I’ve hesitated to make it public. Today, however, feels like the right time. It’s been on my mind for some time, and I see it as a sign,” she explained.

Their relationship has seen its share of ups and downs. Following their initial split in 2018, rumors of infidelity surfaced, causing further strain. Despite reconciling in early 2019, Cardi filed for divorce in 2020, only to later reconsider.

Now, Cardi is ready to embrace this new chapter, prioritizing her career and personal growth.
