It has been almost 4 decades since Madonna released her debut album, Madonna. And that marked the beginning of an illustrious career that would go a long way in establishing her as a prominent name in the American music industry. But her age has now passed, and the likes of Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion are the ones who will take her legacy forward (or try to at least).

But not being an active part of the industry doesn’t mean that she has been sidelined. Madonna continues to make some noise, even after the prime of her career has passed her by. She has managed to stay in the light for her actions over the years.

The 64-year-old is active on Instagram and TikTok, sharing reels and other short videos on the social media platform. Madonna has earned a name for herself by making TikToks, in which she does all sorts of things. One such short video could have landed her in trouble, as in the video, she could be seen sniffing a certain substance.

People naturally began to suspect that she was doing poppers, on social media.

But these aren’t the only things she shares. The pop icon has not shied from showing off her body as well. Her age is no bar. Why should it matter to her? It is her sexuality, and thus it is her decision how she chooses to embrace it.

The queen of pop recently went topless on Instagram stories. She could be seen donning a corset in the two pictures she shared on the social media platform. The first picture was captioned, “Went from Candy to Money.” In the photo, she covered her bosom with candy and money emojis. People couldn’t help but contain their excitement seeing the Material Girl singer like this.

What they forget is that it’s Madonna they’re talking about. The 4 minutes singer made it clear that any questions about her choice wouldn’t be tolerated. She also recounted the struggles she had back in her day, in a story that read,

“30 years ago, I published a book called S. E. X. in addition to photos of me naked there were photos of men kissing men, woman kissing woman, and me kissing everyone. I also wrote about my sexual fantasies and shared my point of view about sexuality in an ironic way. I spent the next few years getting interviewed by narrow minded people who tried to shame me for empowering myself as a woman.”

But all of it had a result. She continued in the story, “I was called a whore, a witch a heretic and the devil. Now Cardi B can sing about her WAP Kim Kardashian can grace the cover of any magazine with her naked ass and Miley Cyrus can come in like a wrecking ball. You’re welcome b***hes.”

This is just Madonna reminding us all of what she did to ensure that women in today’s era did not have to remain concerned about their sexuality.

This comes soon after Madonna may have dropped the hint that she is gay. In a TikTok video released on 9th October 2022, the Back in Business singer made a rather obvious suggestion that she is queer. In the video, she could be seen throwing her pink underwear with a message, “If I miss, I’m gay.”

And guess what? She did miss. Fans have taken this as a sign that she has finally decided to come out of the closet.

And Madonna fans have expressed their support for their favorite pop star after her decision to come out as queer.

But most of her fans claimed they already saw this coming.

This won’t be the first time she has said anything about her sexual orientation. In an interview in 1991 with the magazine, the Advocate, she said that “Everybody has a bisexual nature. That is my theory, I could be wrong.”

While some have labeled Madonna’s recent coming out as a desperate attempt to stay relevant, most of her fans continue to hail the queen through and through.
