Nicki Minaj, who welcomed a baby boy back in September 2020, with husband Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, was recently in a podcast on the Queen Radio Show, where she recalled a fairly insensitive and hurtful remark made to her back when she was trying to have a child. Even though the Bang Bang singer did not name any particular person, her fans were quick to zero down on a name, Megan Thee Stallion.

During her recent appearance on the podcast, Minaj shared the offensive anecdote, without unveiling any names. She said:

“Imagine telling someone you didn’t want a drink… you know, because you were, at the time, possibly pregnant, because you were actively trying to have a baby. Imagine that person saying, ‘Oh girl, you can go to the clinic!’

Imagine posting photos that you’re pregnant… and the person doesn’t even like it or say congratulations. But then, when you post that Beyonce sent you flowers congratulating you, the person then tries to attempt to send you flowers thinking that, ‘Oh, I could use this opportunity as I use everyone else. She’ll post that I sent her flowers.’”

Despite not explicitly naming Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj somehow still pointed the finger at her which her fans were quick to read and follow through on. The Nicki Minaj fandom then started tagging the Sweetest Pie singer in vile tweets vilifying her. Stallion had no choice but to respond.

A Minaj fan wrote: “No names were mentioned but u were first to respond? Oh baby the shoe fits,” to which Stallion snapped back writing: “So this person didn’t mention me?”

The Savage singer further wrote: “If someone @ you you can respond right or that don’t apply for every user on Twitter? If someone directly @ my name …why do they be confused when I reply lol?”

A lot of hate tweets directed at Stallion were posted.

Meghan Thee Stallion staunchly shut the rumors.

After a flurry of hateful tweets and comments against Megan Thee Stallion, Twitter started coming out in her support.

With Minaj not having named Stallion straightforwardly, it could be a minor possibility that the fans ran on assumptions. But then again, the Super Freaky Girl singer did nothing to shun the rumors, and as some Twitter users pointed out, she even liked vile tweets about Stallion, thus fueling the fire. Many people even pointed out that Nicki Minaj has beef with quite a lot of people in the industry so it is apparent that Stallion is not the problem here.
